Course Description: The 2021 Basic Life Support (BLS) course equips participants with the skills to manage breathing and cardiac emergencies for adult, child, and infant patients. It follows the American Red Cross Focused Updates and Guidelines 2021 and is designed to meet certification and licensing requirements. The course includes lecture, skills demonstration, practice, and case-based scenarios that emphasize team-based responses, while also helping participants develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and team dynamic skills to improve patient outcomes.

Course Format

• Blended Learning: Combines online training with an in-person skills session.
• Online Training: Complete before attending the in-person session. Allow 1-3 hours for this to be completed and start at least 48 hours prior to the in-person session.
• In-Person Training: Hands-on skills training must be completed within 90 days of the online training.

Certification

• Validity: 2 years
• Certificate: Digital, issued upon successful completion

Registration Requirements

• Proof of Online Completion: Required to attend the in-person training.
• Email: Each registrant must provide a unique email address for course-related information.
• Comfortable Clothing: Dress comfortably as skills are performed on the floor. Contact Nations Best CPR in advance if you have medical restrictions.
