Course Description: The 2021 Basic Life Support (BLS) course equips participants with the skills to manage breathing and cardiac emergencies for adult, child, and infant patients. It follows the American Red Cross Focused Updates and Guidelines 2021 and is designed to meet certification and licensing requirements.

• Content: Includes lecture, skills demonstration, practice, and case-based scenarios focusing on team-based responses.

Training Requirements:

• Blended Learning: The course requires completing the online training before attending the in-person class.
• Online Training:
• Allow 2.5-3 hours to complete.
• Hyperlinks to access the online training are available at registration, in the confirmation email.
• In-Person Training: Students must complete the online training before attending. Skills will be performed from the floor, dress comfortably.

Important Notes:

• Children: Not allowed in the training facility during classes.
  • Nursing mothers with infants are the execption.
