Students are required to have the following equipment for class: Adult CPR Manikin, Limb Trainer, AED Trainer, First Aid supplies (gloves, gauze pad and roller bandage, face shield). 

PLEASE NOTE: All virtual classes are presented in EASTERN STANDARD TIME

• Complete a 2.5 - 3.25 hour online training
• For Blended Learning Classes: The hands-on training must be completed within 90 days of the required online training
• Zoom session with a live instructor: receive the same hands-on skills training as our in-person classes!
• Equipment and materials will be the responsibility of students.  Complete training kits are available for purchase and are non-refundable.

Certification: Meets OSHA requirements: same certification issued for in-person training

The 2021 Adult First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA, workplace or other regulatory requirements. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile, desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion, a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a Flash-enabled PC with a high speed Internet connection. Allow spprox. 3 hours 15 minutes to complete the online portion of First Aid/CPR/AED training. N O T E: A VALID EMAIL IS REQUIRED FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION WITH HYPERLINKS TO DO THE ONLINE PORTON OF THE CLASS AND FOR YOUR DIGITAL CERTIFICATION. Please dress comfortable as skills are performed on the floor. Students are required by the American Red Cross to perform one full round of CPR on the floor.  Should you have medical restrictions, please call our office before registering to inquire about possible accommodations.  PLEASE NOTE: Bring your Printed Results from your online training or a digital copy or we may not be able to accept you into the class.

Allow 2-3 hours to complete the online training. You must provide a copy of your completion email or a screenshot showing the last module has been completed to your instructor prior to your Zoom session in order to participate in the training.

Please note: wear comfortable clothing, set up in a distraction-free location (away from pets, children, turn off phone ringer, etc.)
